Two decades of curious minds, 50 nationalities, and a school community like no other — gathered on the beautiful island of Hisøy to celebrate together!
When Arendal International School opened its doors in August 2006, it welcomed just 20 students from a handful of countries. Today, over 200 students from 50 nationalities fill our classrooms on Hisøy — making AIS one of Norway's most vibrant international communities.
On Tuesday, June 16th from 15:00 – 18:00, the entire AIS community — students, parents, staff, and alumni — is invited to come together for an afternoon of celebration, food, and memories. The kids get a festival, the grown-ups get good company, and everyone gets a drone photo over the school grounds! 🚁
We look forward to celebrating this big milestone with the entire AIS community.
With families from over 50 nationalities, we want to see the world gathered on our school grounds! Bring a flag from your home country — big, small, handheld or full-size — and let's turn Hisøy into the most colourful place in Norway for one afternoon.
